How to choose the suitable Pneumatic DTH hammer?
Hole Size: The one whose outside diameter is closest to the hole diameter should be the one you select. As a result, there will be less hole collapse and easier hole cleaning.
Air Consumption: When using the pneumatic DTH hammer, you need to be aware of how much compressed air is being used. Generally speaking, peak performance necessitates lower pressure and more compressed gas consumption as the hammer size increases. Please refer to the attachment to ensure that each hammer is used with the appropriate amount of pressure and compressed air.
The larger bit and hammer will need the drilling rig to provide greater torque and promoting force, but do not exceed the maximum load of the drill. As for the other questions about drill ability, please consult your sales representative.
How does DTH drilling hammer work?
A down-the-hole drill hammer, usually called DTH hammer by most professionals, is basically a DTH hammer screwed on the bottom of a drill string. The fast hammer action breaks hard rock into small cuttings and dust that are evacuated by a fluid (air, water or drilling mud).
